We invite you to a dream holiday in Sibiu. Everything has that special Christmas flavour: delicious traditional dishes, mulled wine, cinnamon and sponge cake. The Christmas tree and Christmas bells and carols delight the eyes, the ears and the soul. The magic of Christmas is alive in Sibiu!

Norica Pension 3 ***, Gura Raului – Sibiu
Norica Guesthouse is located in the center of Gura Râului, 3 km from the Lupii Pass ski slope. It offers rooms with a view of the Cindrel Mountains. The guesthouse has a restaurant with a garden and free internet access. Transylvanian specialties and international cuisine are served. Bikes can be borrowed free of charge. A ski rental rental service is also available.
Pick-up and dropp off from/to your accomodation in Bucharest
We will begin our journey on the Bucharest – Pitesti – Rm Valcea route.
We will spend Christmas Eve in the heart of Transylvania, in Sibiu, at Norica Pension. We will be hosted there for three nights. The host has prepared many surprises. As part of an old tradition, carolers will visit us on Christmas Eve. After listening to the beautiful carols, we will attend the evening dinner party.
On Christmas day, after breakfast, we will attend the church service downtown. We will have lunch and taste the traditional dishes. Optionally, if the weather is fine, we can organize a horse-drawn carriage ride. After a mountain walk, we return to the pension for dinner.
On the second Christmas day, after breakfast, we will visit the Christmas Market downtown Sibiu.
A 10-year old Sibiu tradition, the Christmas Fair attracts, every year, thousands of tourists keen to feel the winter magic. Merchants offer us gingerbread, mulled wine and candies for the Christmas tree.We can find precious gifts for our loved ones. After this beautiful walk we return to the guesthouse for dinner.
After a few hours of having fun, we leave behind the beautiful countryside of Transylvania, taking with us precious memories.
