Wonderful Bucovina, Monasteries Tour 3D/2N

Pick up from your hotel in Bucharest in the morning. We will stop in Vrancea region for wine tasting at one of the famous vineyards.
Lunch on the way in a traditional Romanian restaurant.
We will arrive in Gura Humorului late in the afternoon. Welcome dinner and accommodation in a 4* hotel in Gura Humorului.

Breakfast at the hotel. We will head towards the monasteries.

The Painted Monasteries of Bucovina are all U.N.E.S.C.O. WORLD HERITAGE SITES. Their paintings are unique treasures of Romanian history and religion. We will begin with Voronet, the most famous of all, known as the Sistine Chapel of the orthodoxy in Eastern Europe. It features the best preserved Last Judgment fresco of the East. One of the monastery nuns will explain the symbols of the exterior paintings of Voronet. The monastery is also known for the famous Voronet „blue”, a shade which is unique in the world (its composition has been kept secret for centuries).

Next is Sucevita- the largest of all, looking more like a fortress than a monastery.

Enjoy a traditional lunch in the village of Sucevita. We will end the day at the traditional place of an authentic potter, descendant of a family of craftsmen. Back to the hotel for the BUCOVINA TRADITIONAL GALA DINNER, with local natural food, campfire and Romanian folklore music. Overnight in 4* hotel in Gura Humorului.

In the morning we will head towards Focsani. We will visit Cetatea Neamtului and go on a panoramic tour of the beautiful Piatra Neamt city.
Stop for lunch on the way back to Bucharest.
We will arrive in Bucharest in the early evening.
