Pick-up and dropp off from/to your accomodation in Bucharest
Pick up from the hotel in Bucharest. We will head towards Ramnicu Valcea (passing by Pitesti). On the way, a short visit to the fortified Cozia monastery, which was built by the Romanian ruler Mircea the Old between 1386-1388. In the late afternoon, we will reach Sibiu and enjoy a city tour. We will discover the delightful oldest parts of the town: the Small Square and Big Square, the Council Tower, the Bridge of Lies. One of the most beautiful Romanian towns, due to its unique architectural style and to the impressive complex of museums, Sibiu was awarded the official title of 2007 European Capital of Culture.

After breakfast we will visit the Ocna Sibiului balneo-center with natural salted water. Then a short visit to Miercurea Sibiului fortified church-UNESCO heritage. We will also admire the largest Gothic castle of Transylvania: The Corvin Castle, located in the city of Hunedoara, built between 14th-15th centuries.
Our next stop is Alba Iulia, the most impressive medieval fortress in Transylvania. We will go for a walk in the citadel and see the Orthodox Cathedral, the Romano-Catholic Church and the main gates. Dinner and overnight in Alba Iulia.
Breakfast in Alba Iulia. Afterwards, we will visit the Turda salt mine, with impressive halls named after kings and queens. it hosts a museum of salt mining and also a theme park (with a ferris wheel, boating lake, sports facilities, an amphitheater and souvenir shops)
We will visit the Targu Mures citadel. Again on the road, this time to Sighisoara, one of the few still inhabited medieval citadels in the world. SIghisoare fortress is an UNESCO European heritage site and Vlad Dracula’s birth place. Dinner and overnight in Sighisoara.
Sighisoara- walking tour in the most beautiful medieval city of Romania. The medieval fortress (the only one still inhabited in Europe) has been on the UNESCO list of world cultural heritage since 1990. We will visit the famous Tower Clock (built in the 14th century), the birthplace of Vlad Tepes (Dracula) and the late-Gothic mountain church.
Sovata is located at 1,600 ft. above the sea level, in the stunning forested region of Transylvania, featuring the Heliothermal Ursu (Bear) lake – unique in Europe. We will head to Gheorgheni, passing by Lacul Rosu. Accommodation at a chalet-hotel and traditional dinner.
We will head towards Brasov. We will go on a walking tour (see the Council Square, the Black Church, Catherine’s Gate, Rope Street).
Our next stop is Bran. We will visit the 14th century fortress built on a rock and guarding a beautiful valley-Bran Castle. We will then be walking in Bran area and admiring the landscapes. Accommodation and traditional dinner in a chalet-hotel in Bran.
After breakfast, we will head towards Sinaia, the most beautiful and exquisite mountain resort in Romania. It situated at 800 m above the sea level. At the end of the 19th century king Carol I of Romania built there an astonishing fairy tale castle- Peles Castle. The castle has 160 splendid rooms used as the summer residence of the royal family. In the castle, Gustav Mahler and his brother worked and lived. The mural painting of theTheater Hall was painted by this famous artist. Wine testing and souvenir/ wine shopping in Azuga Cellars. We will leave the Carpathians behind and head to Bucharest through Prahova Valley. We will reach the capital in the evening.
